1)the workshop can be attended by all students or is it restricted to iem students....
2)are there any qualifications for the course.. suppose microcontroller is taught in 5th semester.. so is it restricted to 3rd year students..
1. All students, irrespective of their institutes, can attend the workshops.However,registration is required for attending the workshop.Keep a watch at : www.iemcal.com/techfest/workshop.html for registration details.
2. Students from all years can attend the workshop.No qualifications are required as such.
Is there any restriction on the maximum number of events in which a student can participate?
Hi akki_rocker. There is no restriction on the maximum number of events that one can participate. You can participate in any number of events.However the timings of two events may clash. In that case you may contact the event coordinators on that day to sort out the matter. But, in all probabilities we are going to ensure that a student can participate in all the events he/she registers.
We are now in 3rd sem. And have only learned basics of C in 2nd sem. So, can we compete at the encoded event with these much of knowledge of C?

The basics of C is enough to compete in the "Encoded". Its not about how much you know about C but about implementing those.So, Good Luck. Brush up your C Basics and do register online for the Event.
For FIFA, it is clearly mentioned that it will be FIFA 07 at the event.
But for NFS, nothing is mentioned clearly. So, can I know which version of NFS is going to be over there?
So, that I can practice accordingly.

i tried to register for the robotics workshop on the net
but there seems to be a constant problem of some kind.
every time i submit the form i get a message as
" Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'

The workshop will start at 4:30 pm sharp and can continue for 3 hours. The number of days will depend on the instructor the workshop and the turn-out of for the workshop.Students will be informed in due time.

2)what is the starting time of ENCODER??

can a team contain members from different colleges for an event like encoding etc..
well in my team two of the members are 4m 1 college and the other 1 is from other college...can v all 3 participate together as a team in the events
Yes, Participants can be from different colleges.
Each group of 3 members will be provided with 2 computers
the coding environment will be on GCC linux platform.
Participants can take part in different events simultaneously.
I attended the robotics workshop held in the last week. But unfortunately I have missed the encoding workshop. So, may I request you to send me a brief idea about the discussion? And would you please be kind enough to mail me the Powerpoint Presentation shown at the encoding workshop(as you did for robotics workshop)? We have been promised that the finalist teams of X-Race will be sent participation certificate to their email IDs. But we haven't received yet. So, please check.
we have attended in encoding,robohunt(kabadi),c-bugs.
we had also selected for the final round in encoded.
